Berlin Trip 2013
A group of Year 10 German students visited Berlin from 13th-16th of June. Students have applied their German language skills and visited various cultural and historical sights.
This is what some students wrote after their return:
‘I had great fun, we went everywhere! We ordered food in German and they understood us. It was a great experience. ‘ - Thomas Hodges
‘The trip was fun but educational and we learnt loads about the interesting history of Berlin in recent years. We spoke a lot of German when buying food and other items. It was fun to share the experiences with our friends and I would love to go again.’
Ailish Farrel
‘The German trip was a fantastic experience for both teachers and students. Berlin is a fascinating city, full of historical landmarks such as Checkpoint Charlie, the Reichstag and the Holocaust Memorial. All these places are a refreshing show of what life in Germany is like.’ – Gabriel Nelson
