Exam Wellbeing
Wellbeing During Exams
Exams are an inherent part of school experience and yet they can often induce a great deal of worry or stress. Stress is a normal part of life and there is such a thing as positive stress, which can help us learn coping skills, develop resilience and perform optimally in some respects.
Pressure to do well in exams however can be overwhelming, increase symptoms of anxiety and affect overall mental health.
Young people can lose sleep and find themselves seeking healthcare advice over stress related to tests. It's important to acknowledge the potential toll that exam-related demands can place on our Woodbridge students and to provide tools to help them navigate the exam season.
